Most likely hurting you was not the intent but simply a side-effect. I don’t know if this is a specific instance, but usually people mean well and fail to take everything into account.
I’m talking in instances where it’s apparent someone gets hurt in the process. Under normal circumstances I’m aware that people get caught up in instances and people get hurt unintentionally. I also understand that sometimes it’s inevitable, but I’ll respect someone much more who owns up and apologizes over someone who demands the one they hurt is at fault.
